Timeless Eastern aesthetics, savoring a tranquil and poetic life!

This case is a 360 square meter space. The designer abandons complex decorative arts and focuses on the spatial experience for people.Using modern design language to reinterpret traditional Chinese wooden structures, creating a diversified spatial experience with mixed elements.

In the enclosure of dark wood finishes and light-colored walls,traditional wooden elements are deconstructed into simple and clear geometric elements, forming a linear wooden framework that runs through all spaces,shaping a layered spatial experience. By employing design techniques with varying light and texture, and incorporating dynamic geometric elements, a space that coexists with both dynamism and tranquility is created.

In an unintentional corner, a long strip of light band appears alongside rough, heavy stone and mysterious black iron plates,breaking the overall calm and elegant atmosphere of the space.Entering the second floor through deep brown wooden steps, pushing open the round-cabined wooden door, one can see the frosted transparent screen.Seeking balance between modern and traditional, simplicity and antiquity.

Between the wooden lines hanging from the top, smooth curved corners are interspersed, resembling a flowing spatial scene that balances softness and strength.Large areas of wooden elements, paired with occasional linear metal elements,fill the space with a rustic and delicate touch while maintaining a clear and light atmosphere.Simple and clear geometric elements, harmonious color tones, and nature-friendly material textures together create a reconstruction of the space.

"Stream flowers and Zen, mutually forgetting words." The designer quotes this line from Liu Changqing, intending to convey the Zen feeling that arises from an unexpected encounter with stream water and wildflowers after failing to find a teacher, symbolizing that in the infinite pursuit of reality, one can find respite and reflection upon returning home,and the designer responds with the design of the space.
