The case shared this time is a young family home with children, combining two apartments into one, covering an area of 140㎡. The goal is to create a modern, understated interior design with Eastern elements. In this project, the functionality of the space is the priority, focusing on the layout of the space.

The final layout divides the apartment into two large areas: a living area with a kitchen and a private area with bedrooms. The living area is divided into three functional zones: a kitchen with an island, a sofa area, and a lounge with a bay window. The other part of the apartment includes a bathroom, an office with an extra bed, and a multifunctional laundry room, which organizes a spacious storage system and considers a place for waste sorting. The private area includes a bedroom, a dressing room, and a bathroom in a single space, as well as a children's room and a children's bathroom.

Eastern elements complement the minimalist space decoration, such as paper lanterns on the island, Korean hieroglyphs on the lounge wall, plants in the sofa area, and decorative grids behind the bed in the bedroom.

The color scheme is warm, based on a combination of beige, sand, and green. There are rough pottery with textures of natural materials (stone, marble, and plaster), paintings on the walls, and parquet flooring. The interior combines two types of lighting: diffuse light for main illumination and directional light for decorative elements and various areas.

In the bedroom, there is a hollowed-out background, a private area with a dressing room and bathroom, and all soft furnishings are simple and calm.

The minimalist gray tones of the master bathroom showcase the high-end beauty of the space, rationally simplifying the grooming area, reflecting the delicacy of life from simple comfort, making it a good place to relax.

The children's room features a lighter shade of green, with decorative paintings on the walls and a play loft above the bed. It is lively and fresh, simple and bright, with a fairy-tale ambiance, allowing children to freely learn and live in their little world.
